Customising the News Region in iReceivables for Customer viewing

When utilising iReceivables (Customer Portal) for Oracle E-Business suite there are many things we can develop to make the customer experience more appropriate, familiar and informative.  This helps the customer feel more valued and can lead to cross-polination of knowledge, product information and available services.

Within iReceivables there is an inbuilt related information area:-

Challenge: So how do we customise/develop the information area to make it more appropriate for our business and our customers?

Required Responsibilty:
  • Application Developer>Application>Messages
Navigation:  Application Developer>Application>Messages

Find the following messgaes to configure:-
  • ARI_HOMEPAGE_CUST_NEWS_BODY
  • ARI_HOMEPAGE_CUST_FAQS_BODY
  • ARI_HOMEPAGE_CUST_POLICY_BODY
  • ARI_HOMEPAGE_CUST_RESRC_BODY
Notes:
  1. You have to change this message for each language you have enabled
  2. Within the message body it is likely you will have to use some basic HTML commands so a knowledge of that would be advantageous.
